The largest of the thermal areas scattered over Yellowstone, historically visitors arrived at West Thumb via stagecoach from the "Old Faithful" geyser area --- they could continue their journey on the dusty, bumpy coach or travel on by steamer on Yellowstone Lake (above) to the Lake Hotel further along the shore. D850 with 16-35mm @ 19mm., ISO 200, f11, 1/100 Sec., handheld. 12/09/18.
