I found this branch and really wanted to photograph it with a bird. It took over 3 hours before I got my photo.

3 hours. Sounds like something I would do. A few days ago, just before the sun started setting, I heard an owl hoot. I stood outside for another two hours through the sunset and then some more, patiently waiting for it to hoot again.

A few days ago a northern pygmy owl was spottet nearby where i shot this photo. I have now spent a 3-4 hours looking for at this spot, but patience doesn’t always pay off it seems 😊
