Thank you, Nikondale!#1 is my choice
Thank you, Markymark! They are both great shots, but I think the black of the birds feathers has been faded out too much & would want to bring that back a tad.
Thanks for the feedback, Nature Man! I see you are from Florence. We spend a lot of time on Shoal Creek and photograph a lot of birds there. The color of the cormorant in the first picture is much closer to being natural. The second one has way too much blue and looks totally unnatural. But, it's a nice shot.
I spend time at the rockpile just below Wilson Dam but I'll have to try Shoals Creek. Maybe we will meet sometime. Thanks for the feedback, Nature Man! I see you are from Florence. We spend a lot of time on Shoal Creek and photograph a lot of birds there.
Thank you, jeffnles1!!Reading the responses, it seems that it really comes down to preference and neither is right or wrong, just different. Personally, I lean to number 2. One thing I like about cormorants are their blue eyes. The blue seems to pop more in photo number 2. However, either is code in their own right.
Nice work
Thank you, Charles!I like the 'Or This' from birdied
