These birds are often heard but seldom seen. When I moved into the granny flat there were a pair living next door. I heard them every day for two years but never sighted them. Then the property changed hands and the place was cleaned up. The Whip Birds left. The image below was taken in Lamington National Park during one of my rare ventures into the outside world.
