Was hiking along the Southernmost portion of the Teton Crest Trail from the highway at Teton Pass today. Carried some camera gear and was happy I did when I saw the flowers raging up high. I've never seen these fields so full of flowers this time of year but I suspect it has something to do with all the late snow we got in April and the wet spring.

Looking Southwest towards the Snake River Range and Idaho.

Spectacular blooms, especially in the first shot. I could spend an entire day there photographing the flowers and insects -- and I suppose the mountains too.
Beautiful vistas. The variety and abundance of natures colors nicely presented.
Beautiful it looks like you had great timing.
Wonderful! Makes me wish i were there.
Very nice landscapes. (y)
Wow. What a sight.
Beautiful!
Thanks for the kind words folks, much appreciated.

Here's one more capture from that scene with a longer lens trying to capture just how many colors were in those fields...
