Maybe a gear forum??The forum name is General Photo Discussions. Nothing about wildlife and nature.
There are other forums named wildlife, Landscape and Nature, so aren't these the forums to show/discuss wildlife and nature?
Haha great strategy !If Nikon does go bankrupt, will my gear immediatly stop working? If not, I'll keep it until it doesn't work any more.
And maybe I'll buy a few items from the folks that panic and offload their Nikon gear; cheaply, I hope.

There is a fundamental difference between going bankrupt and going out of business.
Bankruptcy just means a cash flow problem - you can’t pay your bills on time. It is a temporary protection from debtors. Lots of successful companies went through this phase and re-emerge stronger.
The fact of the matter is that every camera maker is fighting for a slice of the pie that’s getting smaller and smaller by the day - iphones are eating their lunch.
My Nikons will last me a long time to come. My Nikons are 100 times better than Ansel Adams’ cameras. His pictures are 100 times better than mine.
Stop worrying. Keep making photographs.
