Hi guys!

I know there have been threads in the past about this, but some information confused me.
Im buying a Wimberley MH-100 for my Monopod set up. And I'm really interested in the RRS release clamp system.

1. Will the RRS release clamp system fit on the MH-100? Can I screw it directly on or do I have to do some modification for it to fit?
2. There is different models of the RRS clamp, which one should I go for? I can see they have new model that Is slightly longer (I guess that's a good thing) (https://reallyrightstuff.com/clamps/?page=2)
So either the (B2-LR II: Lever release clamp) Or the longer version B2 LRR II Long lever realise clamp.
And for me it looks like this is the version 2, of this. Anyone using the version 2? can anyone see if there is any difference?

Thanks in advance!
Andreas

It's a 3/8 x 16 thread so yes it will screw on, but it takes some work to do so. Here's a post to read through about doing this:

Brilliant, and you can screw it directly to the MH100 with no problems?
The center threaded hole on the RRS clamp is 3/8”-16. I screw that to the monopod and then clamp the MH-100 on it. If the screw on your monopod head is long enough it could extend through the RRS clamp and into the MH-100.

In my case I find that with the RRS clamp securely tightened its clamping force holds fast the MH-100 and and lens attached to it. I’ve used it with a Z9 and 400TC lens and not had a worry at all.

What I want is to have it like this:
