z180-600 Moon Merge

This was me playing. Last night I took 14 images all hand held. Spot meter. I took some at 600mm FX and DX then stuck on the 2x tele and took some at 1200mm both FX and DX.
Without any further sharpening or whatever, I merged all 14 using Affinity Photo. It wasn't my initial intent to merge them - just a bright idea I had at breakfast.

I am surprised at how well the app managed, and especially how good, IMHO, the image looks.

Pat…an interesting shot…but other than an experiment why do this as the single is clearly sharper?

Just a bit of fun first, and to see how the software coped with multiple images in quite varying sizes.
