Z7 DX Mode

Nope. None at all.

However, there are some differences in buffer space, storage, etc. I did an article about it here:

For me I guess the only advantage is some magnification during shooting in the EVF and the minor advantage of smaller file size. I have a D7200 (newly adopted by my girlfriend), a Z50, and a Z6. I'm looking for excuses to not sell my Z50 (haha, I love that little guy) after upgrading to the Z6, and mainly - when I need the virtual reach with my 70-300, I'm getting a higher quality image from my APS-C Z50 vs. being Dx mode in my Z6. 20 megapixels vs. 10, roughly?

My 70-300 AF-P is super, but it's my only long lens at the moment. I'm planning on acquiring the upcoming Z 200-600 someday. 🤗 Steve I'll read your article above, thanks!
