Z9 DoF preview at 100% view

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to assess depth of field through DoF preview (assigned to a button), as one does, but I'd like to have a more detailed look using the 100% magnification. However, I can't get those two features to work in combination. Once I use 100% view or Splitview and then press the DoF preview button, the image pops out of the magnified view automatically. And while the DoF button is held, I can't zoom in.

Is this a camera limitation, or has someone else figured this out?

Henry Hudson made a movie about this and it is still valid. It seems a camera/Nikon limitation.

Why not just take the picture and look at it? Its not like you're wasting film.

Hi Anton, thanks for embedding the Henry Hudson vid. A good demo of that issue. It was funny to hear him say state of the art, updated to the latest version of firmware (1.11).
