Starting a thread that is wide open for farm windmills, farm sheds & barns, heck equipment too! Old school houses from rural areas, or maybe what was a rural area. Abandoned structures or still being used. Please send them. I’ll start with a few windmills. The two day shots were taken in north central Kansas, maybe two miles apart, just in the last couple of weeks. The Milky Way & farmstead is from more central Kansas, taken in August of last year. From that outing we made the decision to buy bug nets to over our heads. The bugs that night were as bad as I was ever exposed to! But what a night.
Ok, I started, now send them in! Thanks in advance, this should be fun.

Great theme. Thanks!

Lisa & Malcolm, great shares, really good pictures. Maybe not widely shared but I think these are fantastic. Malcolm your harvest pano is really good, but they all really good. Lisa I love the clarity of your’s. What part of the country was that taken and/or what part are you from? Keep them coming!

Hey Bill, thanks again for starting this thread. Thoroughly enjoyable. Yes,I’m from Tucson. (Born in Wichita, BTW) The shot comes from Brown Canyon Ranch in Hereford, AZ. (near Sierra Vista).

Biff, I knew you'd come through! Those are outstanding. Laugh if you will, but my wife was born in Colorado, moving to SW Kansas when she was about 6 years old, and it was only then that they got indoor plumbing! Church is great, I'll get a couple Churches added. Thanks for the additions.

One more Bill, a little on the artsy-fartsy side, a little roadside cabin I found in northeastern Washington.

Here's a Church in a small unincorporated area very close to where the first two windmill pictures were taken. As I was taking pictures of the exterior, a gentleman drove by, stopped and told me I could go inside & take pictures if I wanted. He said he was on the Church Counsel and said I looked OK to be trusted! Imagine that! It was beautiful. I told my wife who was in the car waiting for me (she recently broke a bone in her foot, so while she still goes with me on adventures, right now she isn't carrying any of my equipment :D, I hadn't been inside a Catholic Church in I don't know how many years & had forgotten how ornate they were. It was cool. But the Church (the one pictured) was built in 1908, replacing the original wood structure which was built in 1881. You can't make this stuff up, history is do cool.
