Adobe Subscription Plans price changes

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I was on the monthly plan, but having taken advantage of a black Friday deal in November for a year @ 62.99, my monthly plan was paid up till Nov 2025.
When the price increase was announced, I changed to the yearly plan paid upfront, wrongly assuming that it would simply extend it from Nov 2025 when the current one ran out - but no :-( it cancelled my monthly plan and took 119.90 out of my account and now my plan runs out in Dec 2025.
Ugh, maybe with a call they will fix that.

This is the biggest thing people should do AND if you don't have a plan you can't get the 20gb one soon.

  • The 20GB Photography Plan will not be available to new subscribers after January 15th, so if you haven’t subscribed yet, you still have time to jump on board. (And if you’re already subscribed, don’t let your subscription expire, as you won’t be able to resubscribe to that plan.)
I've been thinking of moving to LrC/PS 20GB plan for a year now. I understand if I want to lock in the $120/yr I need to act before Jan 15, 2025. I've been searching for the system requirements for the whole bundle LrC + PS. Where do I find this? I see system requirements for LrC only.

After using all Adobe products since version 1 (yes, in the last century), I’m in the process of dropping all of their software due to their recent EULA changes.
I have the comprehensive plan, so it’ll be a big shift and have some challenges — the software is intrinsic to my work.
But advice from our legal team is that the EULA is a show stopper in regard to Adobe’s assertion of the right to open and view our files, and overly vague wording regarding AI training.
Our corporate clients flat out told us we have to switch software to be in compliance with our NDA agreements with them.
For professional photographers, illustrators, and designers, the issues lie primarily in the AI area.

Currently, we’re vetting new solutions, with DXO and Affinity Suite being the main focus, and expect to be out of the Adobe ecosystem within the 2025 calendar year.
Same here, with larger clients and agencies. There is also the concern for "leakage" of prototype products and logos or their incorporation into LLM-output. Two clients now require all assets in unedited form overnighted to them on an SSD.

So the way I understand it, the monthly payment is on an annual plan. There are blog posts that say that, so you could do that but if you mess up and don't switch to annual before it expires you will next time be on the higher monthly. You could wait and switch then, but I didn't see a reason too. I just switched, got a partial refund and paid for a year. I am fully committed to Adobe for my needs.

If your machine can run LrC and the advanced features it can run PS is my guess, but the specs are here.

This is more optimum requirements than minimum. It was written before generative fill so slightly dated but still relevant.

This is what Adobe says:

I have this one since 2020. How do I go yearly (if I need to) to keep the lower price? I'm so confused.

I see no "Manage Plan" but I have "Manage Account". From there I can see what I'm paying for and I see "Annual Plan billed Monthly".

How do I do that? I find no options in my account to do that. I'm so confused.

This Is a known issue that we’re working through. However, I have heard from several customers with the same issue that they were easily able to switch to the Annual up front plan by contacting Adobe customer support: 800-585-0774
I am in the same boat. It seems Adobe doesn't want to give us longer termers any options. I've subscribed to my 20GB plan since 2020, Annual paying monthly. Seems they don't want to cut us a break by switching to annual payment. Then what happens next year when the annual renews, will they increase us then? I no longer trust anyone, especially big corporations.
