omg you are good - that was on many a person's lipsLooks like you could have a cigar and mojito cocktail after the shoot.

Thanks Rassie - appreciatedFantastic images, Elsa. Just WOW!
Thank you - of all the elements - water scares me the mostWow, an amazing set of images showing the power of nature!
Thank you Dan. And powerful they were. Today - not even a swell in the harbourTruly awesome images. The dark green of the water seems to magnify the power of the waves. (And I thought some of the waves in Lake Michigan were awesome!) Very nice!
Thank you Jer. I am not the greatest of "landscape/seascape photographers - but I am hoping to start doing more of the seascape type of stuff soon. I now wonder what 1/125 would have looked like! You are making me think.@Winston Churchill (Sir) How to be out in "it" and not be too miserably uncomfortable— nice! The action in these shots is incredible. If I had not seen your shutter speed, I would have guessed 1/125 as they imply so much motion and action as opposed to frozen in time. That water had to be really moving. Love looking at every shot, thanks for sharing.
Thank you kindly MikeWow, pure drama !
Thank you Christobal for looking !So powerful and impressive shots!!!
Thank you Ken. Well .... now go look for a lighthouseWonderful images !!! I have used my vehicle as a rolling bird blind but never thought of it as a lighthouse blind
Ibrahim - there is a special place for people like youElsa the photos are ok but I suggest next time you hire a rowing boat and get 'side on' shots of the waves.
What amazing moments, the power of the waves the scale of impact, the mood, and the birds WOW enjoyed it thank you for sharing and love your roof top conversions, good old 200-500 i love mine.We had horrific flooding and rather bad storms, spring tide and wind in Cape Town this past weekend. I managed to get a good spot to watch the waves break at the lighthouse - but I needed to "see"over the hedge. Hence the vehicle - My vehicle has a roof top conversion (not a rooftop tent) where I would sit looking out the back - out of the rain, unobstructed view - and shoot for several hours.
