well doneThanks it was kinda fun to see what I could do. It was 60000 feet up so that's almost 12 miles and a few miles east of me. I should have ran inside and grabbed the TC2.0 but whatever, was kinda cool to see.
If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

No need to worry...they've now shot down two more things over AK and YT in the past couple days....I'm sure there is more to come.
Yukon Territory (Canada)I am not good with acronyms. Pretty sure AK is Alaska, but what the heck state is YT?

I've seen shots from the recovery efforts, and it appears that they are well inside the 12-mile limit!I heard about 12 miles then it's international waters so inside 12 miles maybe!
Yes about 5-6 miles.I've seen shots from the recovery efforts, and it appears that they are well inside the 12-mile limit!
If the CIA has/is watched/watching him, would he know it?Has the FBI, CIA, ... visited you yet?
When I typed YT I actually wondered if many in the US might not recognize that...haha.Well, of course. I am having to laugh at myself, thus the laughing emoji on your post.
Thank you.
Great pictures with historic pertinence. Very commendable work for shooting handheld.Saw this happen from my back yard. Z9, 800pf, TC1.4. Saw the rocket come out the other side (or nearby) but missed the shot going through! Hand held, no time for tripod!

This may be a dumb question, but how did you happen to get the photos? Was it pure luck or were you able to locate and track it? I'm frequently away from the internet and/or news, so, at times, I don't do a good job of keeping up with current events. (And, no, I'm not ill nor in prison etc ). I scrolled very quickly thru all the messages here and missed it if you have already answered that question. Sorry, but if so, just say so and I'll look again. Thanks
