Best thing I could teach them is not to shoot weddings!!
There's lots of wildlife at weddings! Sometimes even predatory wildlife. But you probably won't need a 600mm tc....

shooting a wedding is a thankless job except for the paycheckBest thing I could teach them is not to shoot weddings!!
LOL, that may have been part of my problem, although to be fair I was like 14 or 15 years old at the timeSteve, I remember seeing your public lecture and your background as a wedding photographer. You had a JC penny lens though… lol
LOL, no kidding! It's mostly easily manage semi-domesticated stuff at the ceremony, but those receptions are deep in the wild! There's lots of wildlife at weddings! Sometimes even predatory wildlife. But you probably won't need a 600mm tc....
100% - at least for me. I hear there are people who legitimately enjoy shooting them, but I also hear Bigfoot inhabited the northwest. I think both are equally plausible.shooting a wedding is a thankless job except for the paycheck
As I recall, it was an event focused on wedding photographers.I never heard what happened at this Tenerife event. Was it to let them try the firmware updates or ? (There was speculation it would be the Z6iii but clearly that did not happen).
Then why all the secrecy if no new products debuted? As I recall, it was an event focused on wedding photographers.
Hahaha!! You sound like my good buddy Charles Glatzer! He was a wedding photographer when we first met 20++ yrs ago and he couldn't wait to quit! He started his "Shoot the Light" company and he became my guru many years ago, now he is a Canon Explorer of Light and killing it doing all kinds of Nature Photography all over the world which was always his dream! Maybe wedding photographers make great nature photographers?
