I actually like Stellar Jays for two reasons. They've a beautiful blue color and they've shown me more owls than I could ever find on my own.

Nice! They are really tuff to photograph. Very difficult to get close to.

This is a tough one to pick! I got some nice shots of birds I've never seen before. I'd love to post a Whooping Crane which I finally saw but the pictures aren't anything decent. I think I'll go with the Little Blue Heron, very rare to have this far north in Green Bay. Managed a couple opportunities with this one. Here, it plucked a polliwog out of the water in flight, pretty cool to see and capture.
