Some of my favourites from this year. Looking back I feel very lucky that I had opportunities to spend time with such a variety of wildlife in different locations.

One of my favourite winter pastimes is spending hours watching short-eared owls:

I spring the damselflies emerge from a pond a few hundred yards from my house:

Well after scouring through this year's images it appears that the species of the year fro me is the American Kestrel, never get tired of photographing them.
