Marsh Wren making a lot of noise. :)

Rainy day today with soft light and our crabapple tree budding when this male Cassin's Finch stopped by for some shots. I usually shoot songbirds in this tree with my 500mm PF but with the buds in the tree I opted for the 300mm PF to include some of the colorful buds.

Well, not sure this is what was on the mind of the person who started this thread, but I couldn't resist. This Opossum was also in the tree behind the house a couple months ago and it's so ugly, it's almost cute. Nikon Z9 and 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 VR S shot at 1/250, f/8 ISO 1000 with +3/4 EV

And this last one is of the forlorn opossum. Perhaps he just looked in a mirror.

Well, this one may not make it through the censor. I've titled it Squirrely Porn, but they could just be doing a "joint think." Nikon Z9 and 100-400 f/4.5-5.6 VR S shot at 1/1000, f/5.6, ISO 4000.
