Not a wildlife lens but I got the Tamron 35-150 f/2-2.8 model A058Z to use on my Z9 for photo assignments at my church indoors with a wide range of lighiting including a large stained glass window behind the altar. No extra lighting can be used and the action does not stop and zooming by foot not always possible but moving around to a lot of different parts of the church from the main sanctuary to the organ loft to the kitchen. First time a lot of busy people sewing and cooking for our helping other people day and the second at our Sunday service

Also used it outdoors the same morning at the helping other people event, kids, teens and their leaders rehabbing a play ground, adults spreading gravel, cutting down a dead tree etc. at the home of an elderly couple in the neighborhood etc.

As expected this lens is not light at about 2.5 lbs but absolutely amazing all the way through the focal length range !!

Have used the Tamron 150-600 G2 for several years with mixed feelings, and had been waiting for a 3rd party high quality long zoom. But comparing this to the Nikon 180-600, I'm not sure how competitive it will be. External zoom vs Nikons internal and 100 mm more on the long end for Nikon both favor the Nikon. Advantages seem to be It is lighter, 3.8 lbs vs 4.31 lbs, smaller even extended (11.3in) than the 180-600mm (12.5 in) and it comes with an arca-swiss lens plate(!). What is left to be seen is the image quality, AF capability and if it can take Nikon TC's rather than Tamron specific TC's. Will have to wait and see who this lens will be for and why.
The Tamron USA product page for it does not say anything about TC's. In the DSLR F mount world you had to ue Tamron TC's on Tamron lenses and Nikon TC's on Nikon lenses. I own Nikon Z mount TC 1.4 and 2.0 but have not used them or some time so not much of a TC expert. I used the 1.4 on the Z100-400 and the Z70-200 and the 2.0 once on the Z70-200. Now having the Z800 and Z 180-600 my need for a TC is just not there.

You can contact Tamron USA and find out I guess.
