Thanks Doug. Yes, even during my first outing I learned a lot.Welcome to the dark side Ralph! I know it seems overwhelming right now but I guarantee you within a month you’ll be asking yourself what took you so long. You have it right…. it is a process, and the answer is practice, practice, practice. Just one step at a time. Congratulations!
Thanks StevenNicely done! Congrats on the new camera.
I finally bit the bullet and bought my first full frame camera. I purchased the Z8 a few days ago. Took advantage of the 500 rebate. Been spending the last 3 days reading Steve’s book and setting it up.
Went out this morning and took a few shots of this titmouse. I froze my butt off. Didn’t stay out very long. My fingers were numb and had a tough time feeling the buttons. I admit that I am a fair weather photographer I’ll try to get to the refuge this week and shoot from my car.
The features on this camera are overwhelming. But I did learn a lot in the short time I was out with it. I had to reconfigure the buttons quite a bit when i got back.
Thanks PhilGreat shot. I’m sure you will enjoy your Z8 once you get accustomed to it. It took me a little while coming from the D850.
Thanks KenGreat image !
