These look really interesting — Swift Canoe in Canada make similar products, They’re beautiful to paddle, but more expensive ($5k for the carbon-fusion model.)
If I’m ever travelling through New York, I’d be tempted to stop and sling one of the 14 footers on top of my car. 😎
I love my rigid inflatable, but I often just want something light enough that I can easily throw it on and off the car and not have to inflate.

I've had my 10'6" Hornbeck canoe for a number of years (purchased it from Pete Hornbeck who started the company). With all my gear I probably put about 190 pounds in the boat, I've used it with whitecaps on the lake and didn't ship any water other than drips off my paddle and spray off the tops of the waves, but I was pushing it a bit more than I should have. My canoe is a layered combination of Kevlar on the inside and carbon-fiber on the outside, an all Kevlar boat would, I believe, be less expensive and a bit heavier.

We had a 15' Swift Kevlar canoe years ago, a very nice and well built boat, but too heavy for my bum back; gave it to one of our granddaughters and her husband --- they're young ;) .

Swift now has 13.5’ 26lb packboats. Very pretty, but they’re eye-watering in cost. 🤑
I’ve paddled them and, on flat water, they’re great. The Hornbeck is half the price.

Live inland so fresh water. When I started into photography I had a fishing kayak a Hobie Mirage pedal power and it turned out to be great for photography. Quiet, stable hands free ... drawback heavy to transport.
