Well, High Resolution is all relative but when the D850 was released 45.7 Mpixels was very high resolution for the time.

The D8xx series was a high resolution series. Canon made the 5D R / RS as a high resolution version of the 5D.

Were you trying to ask, 'Has Nikon ever made a high resolution version of their flagship camera?'
If so you can look to the D1X vs D1H (5.9Mpixel vs 2.7Mpixel) or D2X vs D2H (12Mpixel vs 4Mpixel) in both cases different resolution cameras offered in the same pro bodies. And though none of those seem like 'high resolution' cameras they weren't half bad at the time they were released though they seem pitifully low res by today's standards.
But the point of my original post was that the Z8 could easily be a high resolution prosumer general purpose camera released after the Z9 similar to the way the D800, D810 series related to the D4 and D4s and the D850 related to the D5/D6 cameras. Hard to say as Nikon seems to have moved to just the Zx designation for all full frame MILCs and Zxx for DX crop sensor MILCs so it's really hard to guess how they'd position a Z8 and how they'll evolve the naming for future cameras.
