The MH-02 allows the use of lenses without feet......which I've never done. But a nice feature, nonetheless. No it just tilts which for me is great because the monopod does all other movements in the pivot point/foot which covers all angles.

Thanks for the info, Graham. I was in the process of looking that up, then I had a squirrel moment. You saved me some time.
You threw a small beanbag over the man's legs.....................?I was using a man on the deck yesterday for some hummingbirds. You can throw a small beanbag over the legs and walk away with no problem. The more I use this thing the more I like it.

Thanks for the post! I have been using the Cobra 2 for about 3 years and love it. I just order the Cobra 3 base with foot release and longer legs after watching the videos you posted!I just wanted to update this thread after using the monopod for a while. The more I use this the more I truly love using it. You really have three items and one when using it you have a ground tripod, a monopod, and essentially a lightweight tripod all in one. I found this thing so useful and so much easier to carry around than a tripod. I haven’t had either of my tripods out of the house and well over six months. I will probably start taking one out soon for macro photography, but just really love this thing. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a multifaceted solution.
Sure a handy product and I carry a 600f4 on over my shoulder for long distances at times. I was very apprehensive about buying it. I already own a heavy duty Gitzo series 4 monopod but I have barely used it since buying this one. That foot release makes all the difference in the world with maneuverability. Thanks for the post!
