I am using the Kirk LP-64 Replacement lens foot. Never caused issues, works very well.

Bought the Hejnar too but since I usually shoot handheld, i shoot without it now.
I always shoot handheld and always use the foot ... it is longer and a perfect "target rifle" "shotgun stock" hand rest that rests in the palm of my hand perfectly and keeps my hand from accidentally hitting the manual focus ring.
Wimberly. It is a little tricky at first to get the pin in place to tighten it, however once in place its solid. The owner has a video on the wimberly web site to see what I'm talking about.
I just installed the wimberly today. It’s outstanding.
There is no doubt that the Hejnar and Wimberley are good solutions, the only kicker being that you need a hex key to remove them. I went with the Kirk option as it addressed the issues with the original foot but was readily removable when required. It also gives me Arca foot option for the 70-200 f2.8 FL.
