Thanks, I had to walk Elmer after I got back home. He wasn't too happy about being left behind....lolNice shots! I've been feeling guilty lately that my camera has been on more walks than my dog.

Nice job.I went back to hike around Corral Lake to view the Rock Wrens without Elmer the doggy. It was very windy but I seen quite a few and some Dark-eyed Juncos today.

Saw one in Britain back in the 80s lovely bird.
Great detail lovely shot! The Red Crossbills have been hanging around a lot lately including this young male with his splotchy colors. I sure hope they make an appearance next spring in full breeding colors, though I like the way his colors work with the autumn background.

Really nice images, our version is the Shore Lark.I came across these Horned Larks by the side of a dirt road early one morning as I was out scouting Sage Grouse leks. There a couple of dozen of these guys hopping around the brush and hanging out by the roadside.

Very nice!Blue-headed Vireo, I usually can only get belly shots of these birds. Seems like they are always high up in the trees. I had to shoot this at ISO 3200. I don't really like to shoot that high but maybe it's not too bad. I can't really see much noise but I'm sure that I have lost detail.View attachment 7489
