I am totally overwhelmed. Perfect in any respect. One of the most amazing shots I have ever seen. 100 out of 100!
This one has deserved much more than 1 Like.

Thanks very much, Mike. Appreciate it. First shot of mine in too long that I'm excited about having printed, large! Thinking three versions -- metal (not a fan myself but have already been asked), fine arches paper, and canvas.

Incredible shot Steven, I am really glad to see you finally got your trip of a lifetime!
Looking forward to seeing more, ..... but that one will be hard to follow!!
Thanks! And yup, this is THE keeper from the trip (tho another Fox shot may compete :) ). Some 'good' polar bear shots but not of this calibre I'm thinking.

Wow, magnificent Steven!
Look forward to more information on your trip and images from this very unique part of the world.
Gavin
Thanks Gavin. I'll post in the general forum about the trip itself and gear in deep cold for a week plus, ect.; as well as the experience of 'living on the ice.'

The best! Love the "animalscape" look to it. Assume you went with a guide service - just wondering as I would like to go.
Thanks. I'll post soon in the general forum about the tour itself (spoiler alert I'll be highly recommending against the tour co. I went with :) ).

Great shot. I love the feel for the ice, the shapes and the environment. Makes you want to pull your toque down over your ears and stay with the fox. (Elbows up...)
Thanks. I was 'alone' with the fox for several minutes -- very special, indeed -- the other cameras were all on the other end of the iceberg and ultimately 'chased' her toward me, she appeared among the ice rubble as shot here; another shot not yet processed of her simply sitting, resting, looking my way. Saw other foxes on other iceberges; almost certainly one had her den dug in the ice up the side of the 'berg. Another pair we spotted running across the ice. Unbelievable existence -- how the heck do they survive out there in the total dark of winter....

One of your very best of late Steven, superb moment and well exposed & processed. (y)
Thanks Marc. The fox was nice enough to appear in that grand spot of light and shadow, and then look back :) And then very thankfully some cloud chose to make the sky interesting!
