The breath of an Arctic Fox

Stunning shot! This is a good time of year to be in the Arctic, the ice is still solid and there's plenty of sunlight. In 1969 I took a trip with an Inuit guide and his dog team from Baker Lake. We slept on double caribou hides in a new igloo each night. It was the most comfortable camping I ever did. Will we get details about your trip?
That sounds great. Yes, I'll provide trip details soon (so I keep saying LOL) in a separate post soon. Definitely next time I go I'll cut out the white guy and work directly with an Inuit guide (met a couple who fit the bill).

I silently begged this fox to look back. She did; click! She's climbing through the ice 'rubble' at the base of an iceberg trapped in the sea ice of Baffin Bay, off the coast of Baffin Island, Nunavut (latitude about 72 degrees 42 minutes North). We were at the iceberg to get ice for melting for our water; our camp on the sea ice nearby.

This is such an incredible shot, I can't come up with adequate words to describe it other than the accolades that have already been stated! Your journey as a photographer certainly paid off in this amazing shot! Thanks for sharing it!!
