If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).
Nikon 500mm PFJust to flip around my previous post, might be fun to name our most used “great” lenses. For me - because I enjoy several forms of photography - its situational:
For birds and wildlife:
1. 600mm 6.3 pf
1A. Oly 150-400mm 4.5 TC
Landscapes - 24-120mm f4; my 70-200mm 2.8 is a very close second.
Street and travel - Oly 25mm 1.2
Grandkids in action and family - 70-200mm 2.8
Astro, night and Aurora - 20mm 1.8
You are where I am headed once I get authority from She Who Must Be Obeyed. Not that this will happen anytime soon.Although I now have the Nikkor Z 400 TC 2.8, the 800mm PF still takes centre stage.
Too early to review. Terrible weather here in the UK and not much opportunities since purchasing, but I will be sure to keep this thought in mind for the future.I wonder if you could give us more of a review of this combination
