Great photos Dave. They all look cold! I presume you were feeling the cold as well!
Thanks Kathy! Yeah, 'twas a bit nippy :).

Woke up to a couple of degrees below zero (F) and spent a lot of time with my hands in my pockets between shots. Definitely a good time to have the camera and lens on a tripod so I could warm my hands. Wore a thin pair of gloves under another pair of thermal cycling gloves and it got the job done and I could still operate the camera controls but just barely :)

Below zero! Ouch, it’s still not officially winter.
Yeah, usually this is the toughest time of the year out here when we're not used to the cold temps yet.

I was certainly cold the other morning but the sheep didn't seem to notice including this little one :)

Beautiful photos Dave,. I always look towards seeing your Photos of Wyoming Wildlife and those amazing Landscapes.
Thanks Vern!

Here's one from this morning. Most of the sheep were up high and far from the road but this little guy was up on top of some cliffs close to the road taking in the view.

Before moving to the coastal area in 2018, my wife and I lived in the mountains of Rappahannock County, Virginia. Winters could be harsh and snows deep, not unlike northern and western states. Watching the wildlife struggle gave us renewed appreciation for our wildlife…. Just a few photos.
