Agreed, i replied to them on Instagram saying dribble out some specs please.... at least we have the name confirmed i guess!I am betting it will be expensive... And new lenses too. Oh well. It's only money.
What's the bet the Z8 will be announced as a replacement for the D850?The Z nomenclature alone suggests this: the Z8 is missing from Z5, Z6, Z7.....
I don’t think so. The ZII is the D850 replacement. What's the bet the Z8 will be announced as a replacement for the D850?
Problem with that is that nobody I know of sees the Z7II as a credible replacement for the D850.I don’t think so. The ZII is the D850 replacement.
I think it depends on what kind of photography you do. For some it is a replacement and for some like me it isn't. But in Nikon perspective it is.Problem with that is that nobody I know of sees the Z7II as a credible replacement for the D850.
Availability hasn’t been an issue in Australia, eg I got my 500 PF within 3 days of ordering it, I’m not sure why this is the case, must be frustrating thoughNikons biggest problem right now is shipping. Dealers can’t get anything. How long has the Z7II and the grip been out? No one has them in stock. New lenses come out and you can’t get them. It took me 1.5 years to get the 500PF.
if Nikon could ship to meet demand a lot of their financial issues would go away. Canon is crushing it when it comes to introducing new cameras and lenses and actually having availability. If you can’t ship you can’t post sales.
I just got the a1 yesterday along with the 200-600, grip and 1.4x tele. I plan on keeping my D850 and wides for now but even if Nikon came out with their 200-600, the Z9 etc. how long would it actually be until I could get them? By the time I get them the next new camera is coming out. To me that’s Nikons weakest link, shipping.
