My Z8 is home from camp, looks good and relaxed and ready for work!

Same here! Super clean, settings restored, and now happily mounted on my 800PF.My Z8 is home from camp, looks good and relaxed and ready for work!
It certainly does but there still seems to be those that have doubted my information on this from the beginning.that certainly sounds like a shim
My account shows expected delivery of July 11, by 7:00 pm. No indication of signature required, as of yet. I'll be home on that day, watching for the delivery.I hope mine is too. A little more trouble, but less likely to disappear off the front porch.
Called Nikon again yesterday. Got a different rep. He found my camera and said it was on its way back! (Seems most of what the first rep told me was wrong.) This second rep gave me a tracking number and the camera arrived this morning. I never got an email from Nikon with the service order number. There was an invoice in the box with a service number and other info. I guess one moral of my story is that if you suspect you didn't get the correct information from the first call to Nikon, try for another rep.@Gov - late afternoon Monday (7-3) I recd an email from NY confirming mine. They were not closed, I'd assume. Not heard anything since
Did you include your email address information with the paperwork that you submitted when you sent your Z8 in for service? That would typically be the way that the Nikon Service center would communicate your Service Order number to you.Called Nikon again yesterday. Got a different rep. Yes. I included all the contact info Nikon asked for on the Z 8 Service Advisory Form (packing slip): serial number, name, email address, full physical address, and phone number and put the form in the box. I just checked a second copy of the form that I made for my records and all of the info is correct.Did you include your email address information with the paperwork that you submitted when you sent your Z8 in for service? I just checked mine again. They created a shipment label July 6 (my birthday!), showing delivery July 11th. But UPS has not received the shipment item, which is ground 4 days shipping. LOL, crazy - I'm curious if it is a signature required delivery.
My Z8 return shipment also indicated "Adult Signature Required - MIN 21". I had the package redirected to my local UPS Access Point (which I do for all of my UPS deliveries).curious where things ended up for folks wrt signature required? Thom's post suggests mine requiring signature was not typical.
Mine is arriving tomorrow: signature required.curious where things ended up for folks wrt signature required? Thom's post suggests mine requiring signature was not typical.
So moral of the story is to not shower?Mine arrived an hour ago and required a signature. I missed the UPS driver on Friday, I was in the shower. Had no idea it was on its way back home.
Thank you! Those posts, which I obviously missed, do make sense.Maybe these posts by @Lance B offer some insight into your question: Nikon Z8 - Service Advisory (Posts 390 & 392)
