I couldn't how to get the info directly after each photo, so here is the whole thing. All photos were taken with a Nikon Z9 and without exposure compensation. The collared aracari was in Costa Rica, where I spent a great week earlier this year; 600mm TC at 840mm, 1/4000, f/5.6, ISO 2000. The gadwall was taken in Washington, DC, with a 100-400mm and a 1.4 TC, 1/500, f/8. The sunbittern was taken in CR, 600mm TC at 840mm, 1/1600, f/6.3, ISO 4000. The speckled tanagers were in CR, 600mm TC at 600mm, 1/3200, f/8, ISO 8000. The hawk was in DC, 600mm TC at 600mm., 1/3200, f/5.6, ISO 20000. The eagle was in Virginia, 400mm TC at 400mm, 1/4000, f2/8, ISO 320.

The first two are included because of their uniqueness. Eagle flew into tree then flopped over and hung there for a couple hours until we finally cut the branch it was hanging from and it flew off about 100yds and rested on the ground.

Wonderful series George! The "gator" starts the series with a "wow!" and good above wing flight shots are not that common. Your Glossy Ibis shot is the best above wing shot I have seen for that species and against that background rather than sky makes it very special.

Six of my favourites with my Nikon Z9 and a Sigma 150-600mm lens.
The eagles are from Delta British Columbia, and the Egrets from the Riparian Preserve, Gilbert, Arizona
Hawkins is a Swainson's Hawk from Calgary Alberta who visits our friends there regularly
Mr. Finch and Red Fox are from our back yard in Delta BC
