Hi folks!
Here is the "white bird" (indeed it's all white :p) from Reunion Island.
It's a hopping bird, pretty hard to capture. I was lucky for this shot, it was still for 2 seconds.

It is probably bad form to post a bird pic without identifying the bird, and I apologize. Would be grateful if someone who does know which bird it is enlightens me and others - thanks! ISO 2200, 600 mm f/6.3 1/1250 sec. Nikon D850, Tamron 150-600mm G2, handheld. Rather heavily cropped, so am...
Hi,
My first photo post here, I really appreciate Steve's work and this forum is a goldmine to watch some great wildlife shots taken all around the world, so thank you for sharing!
Here are a few pics of blue tits taken this month, as a gift in exchange of some sunflower seeds :)

This little Blue Tit, one of a pair, was in the morning light (12/5/21) around 0700 using my D500 with the Sigma 150-600C at max and settings of s1000 f10 auto-ISO500.
The pair are using a bird box in my garden, so hopefully I might get some action shots at some point especially if they have...
Last week we went for a little break away and I got up early at a spot that looked like it would be good for birding and I was amazed at how many species I managed to spot there! The African stone chat is a beautiful little bird that I had on my list of birds I really want to photograph for the...
A few weeks ago a local lake was drained meaning that the large puddles were densely packed with fish.

Hey guys this is my first time posting. Was out on the back deck and was practicing with my new gimbal and saw this guy in my neighbors yard. Wow it was a lucky shot . I was using my d750 with a 200-500 f/5.6. Any and all comments is welcome. Thanks
There is a spot in a small vacation town where I know there are always pied kingfishers flying around in the mornings, so while on holiday this December I decided to wake up early on a few mornings and go to photograph these birds, after a while I started to notice patterns to how they lead...
I found this barn owl on a friend's farm about 3 years ago, just rediscovered the photo. I had my settings completely wrong, but somehow it came out great, so I am very happy about that!

I photographed this Cape canary with this weird growth on his beak on a friend's farm just outside Cape Town, this was the first time in my life seeing something like this on a bird, I noticed on some of the other birds that they too have something on their bills, not sure if it is a kind of...
Hi guys, this is my first post here! I am sharing this picture of a Cape Bunting I took back in August. The Cape bunting is a small bird that is found in various spots all over the Western Cape province in South Africa and really entertaining to watch as they hop around and feeds on seeds they...
