hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) / Taubenschwänzchen the Colibri-like moth. Native in the Mediterranean area, but a rare guest in Northern Europe. Travels far and fast, but cannot survive a winter north of the Alpes.

Here is a thought provoking video: Is this wildlife photography? Where on the spectrum(1-10)would you draw the line? Should be some interesting comments in this regard.
