Great image, was it taken in Richmond Park? This is the first zoom I've owned and it's perfect for times like this. On the annual deer rut session I'd walk miles around the park and carrying 2 primes takes it toll. Plus swapping the lens in the field I'd often miss shots. This is a good priced lens to have in the collection.

THATS a beauty. Well donePutting the 180-600 to the test, it’s hard leaving my 600mm f4 in the bag for this action but forced myself to use it lol. Liking what I’m seeing so far. Love no tripod or monopod and walking around ability.
Excellent Dan! Well done.
Thank you very much!...I am going to Italy and Portugal in June and then back to Italy to shoot in the Dolomites in September. If I end up with three shots I like as much as these, I will feel GREAT!
Thanks. This was from Bradgate Park, Leicestershire.Great image, was it taken in Richmond Park?

I use a kirk enterprises plate, pretty sure it's the 5.25" one. No complaints. Can you guys recommend a proper foot plate that is decently long for gimbal placement and has a QD hole?
I second that recommendation. Lets me balance with either the Z8 or Z9 attached.I use a kirk enterprises plate, pretty sure it's the 5.25" one. No complaints.
Cool shots of a Wren I have never seen. Here in S.W. Idaho we have Bewick's, Canyon, Rock, House and Pacific Wrens.Another shot of the Carolina Wren. Light was getting tough at this point, so this was a good test to see how the lens performed.

Thanks, Ken! If you take a visit out east, these little guys are common as pennies, but they never disappoint with their boisterous behavior and insanely loud calls.Cool shots of a Wren I have never seen. Here in S.W. Idaho we have Bewick's, Canyon, Rock, House and Pacific Wrens.
I think the Oben QR-53 Long Lens Quick Release Plate should work. Can you guys recommend a proper foot plate that is decently long for gimbal placement and has a QD hole?
